Hi. I'm thinking of getting a lightset for my 3ft x 1.5 x 1.5 tank. I wish to know what's the difference between expensive lightsets (Illumax Pro T5H0 etc.) compared to normal lightsets (Aquazonic T5). The price difference is very drastic so want to ask around before getting one. Thanks!

light set wise : go for your desire light temperature rather than brand.
my 2 cents.
planted tank best growth 4900k
best appearance for green plants: 6500k
10000k and above blueish light will show more of your plants' yellow colour.
This is from my experience.
T5HO however if i am not wrong its cooler by the way.
so basically the difference is just the brand of the lightset right?
I'm currently using 2 x 12000k aquazonic T5 for my 1.5ft tank.
12000k is not suitable for plants? Because that time when I buy the lightset, the shopkeeper told me 12000k is best for plants.
haha, which shop did you go to? so far i mixed 1 accadia plant pro with 3 osram 6500k together. i would say natural light is better for plants.
I went to seaview. so how many watts are u using? what tank size?

Metal is actually aluminum. The hardware shop is locates at serangon, near rainbow. The wire for hanging the light is bought at seaview. You have to ask the worker as it's for their own usage, I just ask them to sell me as try do have extra. $4

From the picture, I see that the wire comes out of the aluminium stand. How did you do that?
Ask him drill 2 holes. Hahfha.
