Hi all, as titled above, my external filter seems like loosing power. All pipes has been checked with no blockage. Is it because of the impeller core or the rod end rubber? Anyone can advice on this? Thanks in advance...

I think it is best you change both. Initially I change the impeller but it is not good, later then I changed both and the power comes back

You guys mean that the impeller & also the ceramic shaft together? The impeller's magnet may have problems over time too?

The impeller magnetism will loose it power over time. Inside the powerhead use the coil to drive the impeller

Did you change the filter pad recently? Normally after 2-3 months, the white filter pad will be clogged and cut the flowrate a little.. You can change the top white filter pad to see if that is causing the drop in flow or maybe canister is just dirty... Normally Eheim canister won't just wear down so fast...

Well, yes, but now my case is not reduced by a little. In matter of fact, there's rattling sound as if the impeller is not spinning at the center point. I do see that the rubber is bit worn out though. By the way, the unit was bought second hand. Hehe...sorry, forgot to mention earlier.
