    Hi people!

After Many days of running to source for items and a whole afternoon of sweat doing DIY and setting up my tank.

    Tank : 36cm(L) x 30cm(B) x 30cm(H)

Filtration : Undergravel plates with atman's HOF.

Lights : Aquazonic LED slim lights.

Livestocks : Mysterious - for you to guess!!

I had came out with 80% of the hardscape.

20% more to go which will be lava rocks, Amazonia soil II,sand, water and Live stocks!

The mystery here is for you to guess what the livestock is!!

    Please enjoy the pictures!

Messy living room while creating this project

Tree bark cork at the corridor when I cut them to my desired size.

    FTS

    Right

    Top

My filtration system that is being covered up my the cork bark.

When my tank is complete. (Sorry for the messy drawings. Hope you can understand.)

P/s : The word at center top of the picture is " Water from HOF"

All will be in the tank in a week's time. In the meantime.................................

    QUIZ time!!

Please guess the main livestock that will be in there!

In the water, there will be neon tetra, loaches and cherry shrimps.

    Hints.
    1) The wire mess cover.

    2) Livestock can be on land and in water.

    3) The branches in the water is for the livestock to cling on and climb out of water.

    4) Not the common kind you see everyday.

    Cheers!

Thanks dude! But I'm still waiting for my new tank to cycle finish, so I can transfer my shrimps from my old to my new. Then I can use the soil there to put into my new newt tank.. sorry for the wait.

    Re: Mysterious Project

Anyone can help me ID what this plant is? it seems to be able to grow with just rushing waters and do not need to be submerged.

please advise it's common name. Would love to get some for my scape. Donators are welcome

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and he will drink beer while getting sunburnt.

if you are keeping newts, the mesh won't keep them in... you will need a acrylic cover.
also, instead of just using acrylic to shore up the soil, may i suggest that you use rocks and filter wool.

Nice set up though. Looking forward to seeing the complete set up.

Hi bro! Nice to see you here!

Thanks for your valuable input.I felt that it made sense to use rocks and filterwool to make it have a even more natural look.also I believe the it's camera error as my mesh cover should be fine to keep the fbn in there as the squares holes on the mesh is smaller then the newt's head. They should not be able to go through it ... And the reason I use glass partition is mainly because I like how it looked , a very clean and modern "zen" look to me . As I'm going to have some tetra and fishes in there . I would love to see them against the glass like a small tank within my tank .

    Yes, thanks for the anticipation to see my tank! Me toooooooo!! Can't wait to have my newts in their new condo (;
