haha, that is because your light is strong enough and + sufficient CO2 that's why they creep. Next time you try cut one of it and it will tall very fast.
So what did you at in the background now?
right now i took out all the plants at the back, including all the tennelus, which is creeping everywhere. This is something i do not like. Thus IMO NEVER use any plants that is able to creep as a background plant. very soon enough they will make their way to the front.
