Hi people!
Just yesterday I went to get myself a pack of CO2 pills as I've alot of quries on co2 cylinder, hope you guys can help me out a little.
CO2 Tablets bought.
The main problem here is it wont dissolve nicely, but after ahwile it becomes soft and when the water current hits it, it will dismantle itself and becomes small chunk as below, it just wont dissolve away. Really unsightly.
Spot the white little chunks
There is a instruction on the box saying "Dredge up the tablet from theaquarium when co2 is completely released"
So my question is when is it totally released? When mid way I tried to take it out, it is so soft and flaky that upon touching it will dismantle into many pieces.
Please let me know if you have any experience in these tablets and how effective it is.
Cheers!

Yup, Tired it and it does not really help plants grow. DIY yeast and CO2 is cheaper and more efficient and last longer than this.
Try DIY CO2 first and save up for a pressurized CO2 cylinder. Cost around $70-$80 for the most basic one with 2 L cylinder.

Or maybe you can try liquid co2... Like others always use seachem excel if I'm not wrong... Now a days there is alot of liquid co2... Can try search buy/sell as sometimes there is co2 for sale...
Thanks all for the info. Seems like my tablets is going to my storeroom -.-
Thanks again! Will consider co2 cylinder....
Use seachem excel if you do not wish to go to the cylinder part.
I am not sure how effective it is, but when started out. I drop the pill into my HOB filter to solve the undisolve issue.
