Hey Guys, Just done with setting up my new 2ft tank 2 days ago and its currently cycling right now so just want to share with you guys while I wait patiently for it cycle. Still might add some plants and etc to the tank as well. Comments welcome. Thanks and enjoy!

I feel you should move the rocks on the right to the left or to the front. I feel that would improve your scape.



the rain bar should be placed above water level to increase surface agitation for natural oxygen and carbon dioxide in the water.Nice tank.

I think u have to check your GH before u add the shrimps in, seems that u have quite a few piece of rock for a 2FT




Some updates on my tank: added rotalas in the backround, been running for around 2 weeks already and added some mollies to aid the cycling process.

I have a airpump running, so shouldnt be much of a problem as I want to reduce the sound of the water hitting the surface.

Yup, those are lava rocks and shouldnt affect GH, in fact it would cultivate BB growth on it as well.
