    Very nice shrimp tank, your shrimps look healthy and have solid colour, what is the temperature of your tank? do you have chiller? As CRS required 22 to 26 deg, otherwise, they might not last long, even with fan on for 24hours. Thanks my experience. Thanks for sharing.

    Wow! So many filters. Why don't you just combine them all into 2 bigger ones? Less maintenance and less power usage.

    I thought of that too, but the thought of redoing all the hoses and insulate and etc puts me off a little. But I think it wouldnt be requiring less power usuage though,

    2211 -5w
    2232 - 5w
    2224 8w

    Total = 13W only

    Changing to 1 2028 would require 20w already, haha..

    Haha..thats part of the reason its stopping me also, was thinking of 2026 and if I change to it, most likely I will go throught a prefilter first, then to chiller to try reduce the flow.

    Re: My New Shrimp Tank

    I actually wanted a 2 feet tank. My shrimps and plant almost exploded in my 1.5ft but Y618 said they don't deliver. Too heavy for me to carry too. Currently I only used fan and Eden canister and my tank is doing well. If I change to 2feet tank do I need so many gadgets? I only keep fire red in my tank and some shrimp friendly fishes.

    Hey, They would definetely prefer a bigger home! You can try the online sites, they do have 2 feet tanks and can deliver to your place for a fee or free if you purchase a certain amount. Freshnmarine or mizuworld. I think for fire red, you might not need a chiller but I think you would need a more powerful canister than your eden. No need to have so much like mine la, if you wanna keep it simple. I was a little kiasu! haha

    actually 1 big running canister will do the job. you don't have to on all the canister. this will cause the impeller/motor to spoil.

    OK, will look at those online stall. Besides what is the canister preferable for 2-feet? I want something that can be easily replaceable if their spare parts are damaged. Probably get a cheapo chiller too because I am not sure if fan can maintain 26 degree on 2-feet tank. I like to have lush landscape like my current set-up

    Huh? I spoke to the young uncle he said no delivery. Did you buy the metal stand too? I find it too tall. I prefer the stand to be somewhere slightly higher than knee level. If I want the tank, I will order soil too because soil also very heavy

    Need to start planning…...
