Your hairgrass is very beautiful ! I wonder if some red rotala on the back of the rock showing some tip of them coming out from the rock would be perfect !!!
Cheers dude. Well done
Nice set up.. but the piping at the right hand side is a bit of eyesore...![]()
nice set up ..![]()
Nice and wild looking; I like the melting pot of different shrimps: fire-red, white, brown and mixed, just like Singapore.... : )
Where did you get the light stand?
Custom made at a hardware shop near serangoon..![]()
Nice lighting stand, care to share more info on your light stand. how much $$? is it metal or aluminum
Don't want to hijack Evo's thread so replying you here.
Your tank needs darker color to break the constant color. Try some crypt. Those that grow tall ones.
Plant on one side at the back should be nice.
As the tank is not that big so try not to put those with board leafs.

Hi Jeff:
That's what I feel too. But I've zero knowledge about crypt. Would love to try something that's reddish in colour.
Crypt don't require high light though it will help them grow faster but generally, they grow slower than most other plants. So they won't over shadow the mid and fore ground plants.
So putting it at the back away from direct light will be just nice.
The one in my Nano on the left back are Cryptocoryne spiralis. Never really trim them since planting other than cut off those that did not grow straight up.
Cryptocoryne Balansae is another that you can try.

nice layout bro...
Hi,
Nice layout you have there. May I ask what is the small lily like plant that is creeping across the centre rock,, was it original that small or are they the same plant as those behind the big rock? Also, will like to know where you got them.
Thank you!
hi limbeh: lol your nick very wrong, like talking to my father.
er.. the small creeping lily is actually hydro.sp, different from the back plants. they only creep at that height. After i saw the ADA magazine then i started looking for them. Order from any LFS that get plant stock from Oriental Farm, get the plant book, its in it. i ordered mine from Y618. they are able to order plants on a daily basis.
