Had you set your temperature?
Hi all my chiller (resun cl200) kick in for about 2 min than stop keep repeating.
Set up is jebao 302 canister to chiller to tank (2ft x 1ft x 1.5 ft) ard 68l.
Canister flow rate on paper is 1000l/hr. It's definitely not right for such frequent start stop. What can be done ??? All is new equipment .
Tks for any info
Had you set your temperature?
Temp set to 24, 25 start to kick in again within few mins
Maybe your surrounding is too warm?
Bro i think the same with my haliea 100A .
I set the temperture at 25C and will kick start around 10min when temperture hit 26C .
When my air con is switch on , it will not kick start the whole night .
typical problem of not having enough water flow.
Believe its the make of china chillers like resun/hailea. The chiller thermostat is not place at the inlet of the chiller. Hence its not measuring the temperature in your tank but the water if the reservoir causing it to kick in frequently. Water flow might also be the cause.
Sounds the chiller has no "problem". At least the major parts are functioning, even it's working in an abnormal manner.
Check the water flow 1st (use your finger to taste the water injection speed one inch away the outlet).
You may try to increase the water flow as below:
1) To shorten the piping as short as possible to minimize pressure lost.
2) Check whether media inside the canister is "too much". Reasonably we would like to over lay the media in a new canister to get better filtration and bio-bed. Just like food to the fish, be careful not to feed too much to the canister. Otherwise, mass water flow reduction is expected.
You may check your system by removal of the media in the canister temporarily.
Rule No.1: Do change the water weekly, not the fish.Rules for Aquarium
Rule No.2: Do your responsibility: take care of the water.
Rule No.3: Do not take care of the fish. Fish will take care of themselves.
Tks for all the help rendered. Change to hailea hc-130, all problem solved. Think is due to a common manufacturer fault.
Best is to modify your chiller to include an external temperature sensor so that your chiller is not dependable to the pump performance.
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.

Hi bro , how can i install the external temperature on the hailea100A ?
Where can i buy the stuff , any instruction how to install it ?
Thank in advance .
medium quality, cost around $220+, of course there are better ones.
no problem. totally understand. as for the external thermostat setup, even the cheapo one cost $100+, like most advocate of the external thermostat says, this investment will eventually earn its price back through savings in electricity. As for me i didnt use an external thermostat for my 1 hp hailea. i pair it with the eheim 1262 pump with 2 double tap. also kind of ex. the pump goes for $230 so far the temp in the chiller and tank temp is quite accurate with variance of 0.5 deg celsius
Sorry for the late reply, after I change to hailea 130 is working perfectly fine, frequent kick in/out is due to lots of reason, if we go for china chiller it's because price factor if still want to upgrade mic chiller might as well get a reliable European brand, cos after upgrade problem might still be there, like your tank thickness, size nos. Of light even your back ventilation clearance all plays apart in the chiller start stop. Hopefully mic chiller will comes with inverter soon. Cheers
