smoking near aquarium?

is it ok if i smoke near the tank? i noticed that when i do so, smokes can be seen lingering above the water, under the naked light, thus causing one or two shrimp to die. does this action pollutes the water and cause harm to the shrimp?

I would not be surprised if trace amounts of chemical compounds from the smoke enter the water. The smoke itself probably has tons of tiny particles that land on the water surface and then gets carried through your water column, hence causing the deaths.

I always smoke while looking at the tank. So far 0 death.

If your experience is that it kills shrimp, I would not smoke near them, or again it may depends on what you are smoking hehe..

Quit i mean bro laosu time to quit smoking so that you can buy more shrimps hahahaha. i don't get the pleasure to do that cause my setup is in my dinning room so smoking is out of bound in the house

I always having a habit of smoking and relaxing infront of my aquarium and i can see smokes on top of the water under the lighting, but so far no problem and i can see my plants are growing healthy lol

Recently one of my female is berried and i saw this threat, guys you think i should keep a distance when i smoke ?
