Anyone would be able to help?
Hi all, please help to ID this type of danios. Is the red at the back and bottom of the body of natural or dyed colour?

Apologies for the blur pictures as they are taken from a camera phone.
Thank you in advance.

It is the leopard danio, i have a feeling the red parts are not natural. People have created glowing leopard danios, glofish, so it is no surprise that they will dye them.

Wrong ID. This is the Zebra Danio aka Danio rerio. Lack of spotting on the mid-body behind the pectoral fins and the lines denotes the identity as that of Danio rerio. First image, while blur, shows no spotting of any kind.
There are dyed and "GloFish" forms of this fish commonly sold, so if has some red in the body, that is not "natural".
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
I see. They must have gone through some horrible processes to get the colourbut am curious as in how they can be dyed with such uniformed colour on just the top and bottom.
Thank you lucasjiang and stormhawk for the ID.
