    Here is my 1ft tank
    temp : 25- 28C
    light : 20W - 6hr
    water change : 50% once a mth, and do topup when needed

    it does not look like UG, its look more like Lilaeopsis brasiliensis but who knows close up photo might help. UG leaf is thiner than L.brasiliensis and UG have those small transparent pocket to catch small prey

    Hum...then i must have got the wrong plant at LFS, when i bought it, i ask the them, is it UG ? reply was YEs.
    trying to get UG , any recommendation where to get UG?

    yup! i'm curious to know how we can plant Lilaeopsis brasiliensis successfully.

    you got to tie the flame moss around the DW and then let them grow. but you got to trim the moss once a while.
    like what i did for my 4ft tank see below picture

    Very nice, the tree in the 1 feet looks like the hair of the troll. Did you purposely trim the moss to this shape?

    yes, and also comb it to side way mossy stylist

    Wow. Your 4ft moss tank is tremendously beautiful. Love those tree alike but I think once a shrimp goes it, it would take years to find it back! Nice work there !

    moss are easy to keep, don't need to trim them every 2week, like those stem plant, once they over grown and cover the water surface and block the light, got to trim them. : )
