Hi all, again need your expertise to ID this plant with green leaves and pink/red vein. Been searching in the net but I'm unable to find an ID of it.

I'm quite curious to know about this plant too. I tried planting it submersed in my tank, but all the leaves shed after a couple of weeks, only left the stalks now. No signs of new growth

Hi,mine was only about a week plus in my tank. So far, it's taller than when I've got them. No signs of melting yet.

Anyone can help to Id the plant, please?

Hi Steven, another Liverpool fan in Singapore, if I am not wrong, the plant should be Hygrophila Polysperma "'Rosanervig' or they are called Sunset Hygrophila. Go Reds!

If it is Fittonia, then it is not a an water-plant and it won't last long in the tank when it will eventually died.

They are fittonia, not really a good idea to place inside a tank unless it's a vivarium.
Fish keeping is not a good hobby unless you received support from your family to keep them.

hi Aquanoob, Stormz & driftw00d, thanks for the ID and advise. Will take out and grow as potted plant instead or anyone of you wants it? haiz...next time must really find out more on the type of plant first before buying on impulse.

Re: Need help to ID Plant again

Steven, it is a easy potted plant and is undemanding too. I have a few of them as potted plant at my corridor, don't need much requirement other than regularly watering.

Took it out from the tank and transferred into a pot already, no sign of melting and hopes that it can survive the 'trauma' caused
