You might wanna consider leaving some space for the cories to feed. Cories should be able to find the food but the food will definitely be trapped in the moss over a period. Especially so when you feed cory food which are usually sink to the bottom.

i am not in favor of letting cory swim amongst dense mosses.
if the purpose if for eating fish food trapped, you can use shrimps. Also, i think if you have a greedy SAE, that may help too.[:]

Most corys I've had seem to prefer a sparsely or un-planted substrate. If not, the try to dig thru the plants to get to the substrate. You should clear an area for them.
