so when you introduce crs inside will the yamato still be around? what about throwing in ottos?

Most probably the Yamato will be removed to my other tank when I introduce CRS. They will fight for food with the CRS.
If you look carefully at the sponge on the intake, the Oto is there. Only Yamato and SAE eat hair algae and that's what the Yamato are in there for. The Oto and Horned Nerite snail are in there to take care of the rest of the algae.
I order it from HK and paid S$110+ for it. After I test it and if good will bring in more to sell.
Today drop my dead snail which committed suicide by getting out of the tank in and the Yamato manage to yank the snail out of its shell. My Cherries took many days and still cannot get it out.

More Moss in the tank. I tied this to wire mesh using the moss that came with my very first batch of CRS that I get from C328.
The moss is quite big piece and I only tied around 3-4 pieces to cover the mesh, should be java or taiwan moss I think.

Jeff, can try red nose shrimp. Do not snatch food from crs and does a better job than yamatos imo
Zack

Thanks but no thanks for now unless someone can loan me a few.
But it is the Staghorn algae that is irritating me, don't think red nose shrimp will eat that right?
Currently I am not really feeding my shrimp as there are a lot of green algae for them to feed on which I like.
Anyway if I feed, I will drop 1 piece for the Yamato and let it snatch and run then drop another piece for the CRS. It is working so far.
With only 1 Yamato, it is more manageable.
