Do you use water tester to check on the TDS (total dissolved solids) parameter?

i see them more lively when they are in 240 range ..

I saw GC selling the meter, quite expensive. Are there alternative models, cheaper priced ones?

yes there is. There is one of the Marine shop i went to at Upper Paya Lebar Road. Forgot the shop name. The shop is just beside Inline Skate shop. TDS meter less than 1 blue note with 10% discount. Cheaper?
