Hi everyone. Hope somebody can help me. I just started rearing shrimps. The problem is i had this dry coral as my decor in the shrimp tank. Formerly the coral was in my previous freshwater tank for almost a year. Now my shrimp tank ph level is 8.0. Tried dripping the ph- solution and it only work for a day. After that the ph rises again. Can someone pls help me. My shrimps are dying

    Re: Coral

Your shrimp will definitely be dying. First of all, you shouldn't be using those PH buffer for shrimp and you should immediately take out the coral. The pH jump will cause stress to your shrimp and they will soon all die out unless you are keeping Sulawesi shrimp. My advice, take out the coral and change change water. That might save a few more live.
