- Thanks for the good recommendations of MH websites, if that is really the price, I guessed all Marine aquarist would not hesistate to buy it I think the price is ONLY for the MH BULBS only Correct me if I am wrong

- The price of a MH in S'pore cost about 1k

MH sets in kelantan rd (simon can show you what it looks like) is only $150.

Aqualine series 3 4ft (2 x 150W HQI + 2 x PL ) is around $1500+

Those used by Gan and Teo's and can be seen at C328 was $395 when I bought my set 2-3 years ago. (now will be cheaper lah.).

at the end of the day, MH = most cost efficient in the long run, I have not had the opportunity/need to change my mh bulb since I bought it.
(whereas PL and FL people would have at minimum changed their light tubes 3 times over.)

btw: you pay for beauty, yes, those in the website are functional but they do look like something you see at a construction site...


incidentally the
Metal Halide 250W Low Bay looks like a hamilton/reef sun set. but is probably attached to the ceiling rather than suspension wires

Low bay type is hang down from the ceiling so it is possible to use a chain for that purpose.

However low bay only comes in E27 mounting.
The price is inclusive of bulb and housing.

You might like to check out their pricing on the BLV 10K bulbs, very good price.
