    Hi all,

I have this very strange cob web like/ gooey growth that gets caught on my plants.

Can anyone tell me where this is possibly coming from?
It is frustrating on how I can't remove it by picking it out as it's too gooey.

i am having troubles posting photos.. does anyone know why is that so?

    You mean hair algae ?

You can try performing water changes & reducing the lighting hours (or) introduce algae eating shrimps.
That link has reference to other algae if it wasn't want I have mentioned.

Looks like thread algae? I used to use my tweezers and twirl the algae around it before pulling it out.
