    Is the mantis undesirable in the reef?

    Saw some pple "looking" for it in sgreefclub.

    Yesterday I went to buy LR and when I pick up the LR one mantis came out of the hole suddenly and gave me a big shock. heheheh

    depends on how it affects the inhabitants of your marine tank..some consider it ok...At first its awkward for me to find this mantis shrimp cos it looks like a pest....now i guess i jus leave it alone....cos to take it out means removing the rocks....

    mantis shrimp is a different story. It preys on smaller fishes.
