    Hi,

I think I've just realised that I've done something stupid. Let's confirm if I'm right..

Are these the so called Chinese Algae Eaters in the pictures?

Now.. I meant to get otos instead. So, if they really are chinese algae eaters, what should I do with them now??

They grow really fast and they tend to stir up soil, maybe that's just my case. I suggest you try bringing them back to the shop to trade or give it away. They will get alittle aggressive as they grow bigger.

    Re: Chinese Algae Eater?

For me, as they got bigger, they tend to zoom around faster and that stirs up soil and 'banging' my shrimps off. It doesn't seem peaceful as they got bigger. Just sharing for my case

Thanks!! I'll try that out tonight.

I've got shrimps too. The CAEs are small now, and yet I think they're bothering the shrimp already. Plus, they do stir up the soil.

Ahh CAE. I have GAE haha. Mine don't harass shrimp. But they are timid by nature and will zoom around finding a spot to hide.

I kept SAE before too. They pester other fish plus the zooming and worse steal food. If CAE is behaving like my experience with SAE. Return it back to lfs better.
