gill flukes?

hi all,

my ram is breathing abnormally heavily and got excess mucous production on its body and fins, as well as lack of interest in prepared food. is that gill fluke syndrome? Best medication to recommend? Any forms of opinions and advice will be appreciated.

my tank size is 2.5 feet. just found an attractive male gold ram with much effort to pair up with my existing female gold ram. they did pair up, but the male did not make it. =( thanks for the information though, will treat the whole tank now to prevent anymore future breakout!
