U can try Chan from Bioplast. My dad's friend got his E ballast PL from him for his 5 footer. The casing looks similar to the MHs Chan used for his huge tanks. U may need to order from him, as I'm not too sure if he still keep any stocks. Give him a call

    Cheers!

    badman:

Can you make 5' or 6' light , with the following :

    - like Wei Pro (55W PL on four corners, and 2 MH light in the centre.

How much it will cost ?

i will have to check first. as MH is very hot, it might not be suitable as it will damage the eballast for the PL. if u are looking for 5ft light for PL, no problem, maybe we can communicate through pm instead. thanks

Won't the MH be too near to the water surface unlike the hanging ones?

Can't the E-Ballast be mounted away from the light hood?

yes... it will be very near the water thus unless you have a chiller, else i would not advise you to do so. eballast as in for PL or MH? it can be mounted away from the light hood but must provide me with a safe place to mount them.
