Some newbie questions before setting up my CRS tank

Hi peeps,

I have an old Gex Genoah 200 (20x20x24cm) running on GEX 12W CF lights with Gex S HOF. Thinking of doing a planted CRS tank with Dwarf hairgrass (Eleocharis parvula) and Pygmy Chain Sword (Echinodorus tenellus). Substrate-wise I would be using red GEX shrimp soil.

My current 2-ft bichir tank gets between 24-26 degs with the help of a Dymax fan.

I'm thinking to have a budget CO2 system for my planted tank, but I'll give DIY alternatives a miss this time. Please advice on what are the cheaper brands that I could look out for. Think ADA glass diffuser ripoffs .

For equipment (diffusers, lilypipe etc) you can try ANS, it's way cheaper and still stylish.
