Apistos & discus??
Anyone tried this before?
yes, currently in 500l tank... breeding rams or discus are territorial... so keep numbers low.

Yes it can be done and quite easily.
Both of these are 100 gallon tanks. There's a lot of plants which can withstand temperatures that discus require.

Hmmm interesing.
Sorry to deviate...
Hey Ibn, what temperature is your tank.
I always assumed that ferns needed lower temp to grow well.
I've tried but my ferns keep dying on me.
Looks like its me that is the problem, not the water temperature.![]()
quite unfair to show one discus!
actually see two now! eric, has second tank anything to do with tom?

82F. Try moving around to different areas of the tank where there's a bit more flow.Originally Posted by Giant

Haha, you can count 7 of them in the first tank. There's only 2 in the second tank due to them being a breeding pair. Here's the male in there.Originally Posted by standoyo
Good eye on that second tank. The scape in there is created by Tom for a friend of mine.![]()
