Any trouble that tank evaporation may cause?

Hey guys, I have a 1 ft cube on my desk right now. It doesnt have a cover and the temp fluctuates between 27-29degC depending on the time of day.

Evaporation is about ~1.5cm a week that I topup weekly. My concern is because its in my room so its not in a more ventilated and spacious space like the hall, will this moisture lead to things like paint peeling or fungus growth? My pc is also beside the tank, over time will the moisture be a problem for hardware.

Your GH will increase if you just do topping of water.

So far my shrimps are breeding and moulting often so I think better not meddle more. Any bros here keep tanks beside computers for long durations with no problems?
