Dragonfly baby?

Today I discovered a green larvae hiding among the plants in my shrimp tank. It is as long as a shrimp, maybe slightly longer and thin. Where dous it come from and will it eat my shrimplets. I have already scooped 1 out and throw it away. Will be searching if there are anymore n will post a picture of it. Please help.
Dragonfly baby?
Yes, it definitely sounds like a dragon/damselfly nymph. Predatory creatures. Try to keep a look out for them and remove them.
Cheers,
Bernard
Kept (no more) Betta persephone, B. miniopinna, B. sp. palangkaraya, B. uberis, B. channoides, B. burdigala
Pseudepiplatys annulatus, Nannostomus eques

so cute ! can provide pictures hahaha

not cute, these dragonfly will eat small fishes and shrimps, and they can keep eating for like 6 months. So you should catch it and flush it into the toilet before it kills your livestock.

So far i caught only 1. Cant find if there is anymore but my shrimplets keep missing.

the last time I had dragonfly larvae, I got so fed up that I torn down everything to catch the larvae and kill it as all my shrimplets are being eaten by it. If you confirm that your shrimplets are being food for the larvae, do the hard thing by tearing down tank to catch the larvae.
Best Wishes!

Did that today. Cant find any larvae but my shrimplets left only 1. I wait an see if this 1 goes missing also, than i will clear all my plants n see how.
