yeah sure.......last time i check TDS at china town around 74 ppm........
i thought singapore would be very good for the tap water...in my place in jakarta, my tap water around 170++ppm and the water couldn't to drink. so we must buy the water for drinking and the water for drink i tested is around 55-60ppm. so i thought singapore tap water already passed through good filtration that's why below 100ppm i thought already good.
here's a tabel to see what kind of TDS is good or which is mean for good or bad to measure TDS.
It is a measure of the amount of magnesium (Mg +) and Calcium (Ca +) ions in water. When we refer to water as a "soft" or "hard," we refer to the GH. This is measured in degrees of hardness Germany (dH). One dH is approximately 17.5 mg / L (ppm).

Carbonate hardness measuring the amount of carbonates and bicarbonates in the water, expressed in degrees of German hardness (HPD).
The term "hardness" in KH is somewhat confusing because it does not actually measure the hardness, but the alkalinity (buffer capacity - the ability to neutralize acid) of ability to resist changes in pH. The higher the KH the more stable your water and getting more robust in the face of pH swings. Parameter 2-3dKH generally accepted as the minimum value to obtain a stable pH.

pH (per hydrogen)
pH is a measure of the balance between hydrogen (H +) and hydroxide (OH) ions in water. The pH scale value from 0-14. As we know, the pH value of 7.0 means that the pH is neutral, with readings from 0 to 6.9 as the acid, and a 7.1 to 14 bases.
pH also serves as a center of concentration of KH and CO 2. That is, we can determine the amount of CO 2 (mg / L or ppm) in water if we know the value of pH and KH. In its application, the pH will fluctuate when we added CO 2, while the KH remains stable.

Carbon dioxide is not mentioned in the title of this article, but also part of the water chemistry is very important. alright so i guess TDS in our tap water is very suitable for shrimps since CRS mostly needs 175-225 range.
Bro Zack, once you had completed your table, please inform mod to make your thread a sticky since i believe its very useful for shrimp hobbyist.
From the GH table, 175-225 will mean a GH of 8-12dH. Is this range of GH suitable for CRS? My current tank is at 10GH with a pH of 5.8. They are fine so far just that do I need to adjust my GH as I was advised that too high a GH like 10 may make their shells too hard for them to molt?
Mine is 70.
