    The JBL is a base fert mix. Personally used JBL fert, so far so good. Not to mention cheap....

    i think he's asking whether it needs to be mixed or can be used as is
    some fert like the dennerle deponit-mix are indeed mixed with river sand etc
    i have no idea what jbl mixes theirs with, but it is normally used straight

    as for bioplast base ferts, they are used directly without being mixed even thought it's a pure fert layer
