i am having hydra problems... it has taken far too many shrimps from me.

i search around the net and all i see is either fenbendazole/flubendazole. the only livestock used is saw so far is Boraras Brigattae. so does Boraras Brigattae really help clear the hydras ? or should i just go ahead with the fenbendazole/flubendazole method.. kindly advise me.

if anyone got effective method to save my shrimps.. please sms me @ 82887539 too. seriously getting desperate. thanks everyone

    Re: Help

What kind of shrimps are you keeping? If they are high grade shrimps, I suggest you evacuate them to a holding tank while you dose fenbendazole. After filtering with charcoal for a week or so after the hydras are gone, reintroduce your shrimp. It's a bit of work, but it's safe.

    Re: Help

The last time I got my fenbendazole from a guy named Spitz. Not sure if he's around in the forum nowadays though. SInce the tank is vacated, you could use vermex. Just ensure that your filter carbon is taken out during the dosing period (about 4 days). After this period, do a 90% water change on the 5th day and 50% water changes everyday subsequently. Also, add carbon to your filter during this process. Repeat this for a week and the tank should be fine to reintroduce yourshrimps.
    Cheers,
    Bernard
