if i were to put taiwan moss in a wire mash for my background how long do you guys think before it will start to spread

Errhh that would be a pretty difficult question to answer as you did not post your tank conditions. If you have the ability to keep you water cool like 25 to 27C coupled with good lighting and a low KH.....you chances would be good.

A good example would be Ah Tan's tank at System and Control.
