The eggs may be snail eggs. Your tank doesn't need so much potassium though, that's more for root development. I'd add flourish and flourish excel (maybe a bit of iron for the mosses) once a week, give it some time.

    assuming all factors are similiar.

and a new plant addition to the tank. acting as a back ground plant,
and to beautify the backyard a bit. my photography skills do no justice to the beauty of these plants. hahah

    Re: new project :)

2 new additions. the PL lighting which gives a beautiful blue hue at night.
and the dual cooling fan system which brings the temperture down by 3 degrees even on a hot afternoon with sunlight.

New roots growing for the ground plants.
the moss are growing new parts too. too small for a shot.

got 5 of these sakuras from a friend. 2 left.
guess the water parameters was too lousy for them.

there's one problem i cant solve. the ph level's 6.4
what can i do to raise it to say 6.8?

    Re: new project :)

Rascal - thanks and will do

    quick update.
Plants are growing well. unidentified plant is growing too.
Salvaged piece of stem is recovering and new baby leaves have grown.
mosses are still growing, darker green now.
for the ground plants at the foreground. it seems that 2 of them had something like a root stick out of the ground. changed to green, subsequently the tip of that root "died".
it became like white strands of hair. i am still observing if this is a form of reproducing for the plant. like banana trees, root grows underground and baby tree pops up beside parent tree.
if so, then we have 2 new ones on the way.
i now have, Flourish, Flourish potassium, and Dymax Iron Essential for plant fertilizers.
    CO2 is roughly 1 to 2 bps.

shocking pH level of 5.0 plan to remedy this with some crushed coral chips. adding it bit by bit to the filter. don't wanna kill the lives stock.
Temperture has dropped and lingers at either 26 or 27 degrees. the UP twin fan systems works well except for the decibel factor.

added 2 badi badi, 1 died in 10 mins. must be the pH.
the other was pretty happy. made the charcoal tube its home. now though it seems to be stoning pretty often. not a good sign.
    2 sakuras are still kicking.
otos down to 4. one died due to hunger strike. thought skinny is the "in thing" in the human world. didnt know fishes had that too. didnt die looking like a model.
added a couple of orange shrimps. all are doing well. no KIAs and no Desertors jumping out of the tank.
all are feeding on algae wafers.

planning a moss wall. thinking of christmas moss.
not sure how can i add it in now though. i may try something that hasn't yet been done though.
a floating version of a moss ball. that would give something for the back drop when the moss have fully grown.
would document the back drop addition closely.
need to wait for pay day though.

alright, thats all. pictures in 2 days hopefully.
to readers, have a great day and enjoy yourselves!

    Re: new project :)

yup, de-chlorinated already. back then after shifting the tank nearer to the window. the temperture rose to 30 degrees.
thats when they started to die. the remaining 2, and the few new orange shrimps are surviving well.
just that the pH 5 is of concern cause its too strong for the fishes i believe. even for the shrimps.
    too low already

Awesome tank p.albert! Really rare that I see a tank like that, for a second I thought you rotated the tank and sealed the bottom, haha. Keep it up! I'll keep checking back here for pictures (:
