think they need a much lower temperature
hi this is vincent here,
i started rearing shrimps since 2010 Sept.
had been okay at rearing shrimps such as Cherries,Sakuras and Fire Red.i was trying out rearing CRS but it seems that there is some problem that i never encountered with the previous types of shrimps.the CRS white colorization seems good when i got it from the forumers but it slowly fades off bit by bit after 2 weeks or so.May i know what happen to the CRS?the cherries/sakuras/fire red are living very well and had alot of offsprings in the tank.

think they need a much lower temperature
my tanks temp is 24.5 to 25.5 fed with mosura crs food plus frozen boiled spinach...

Welcome to the world of CRS
Check PH, GH...
Water perimeters does affect the CRS colors or give them about 1-2 weeks to stabilize... If they are stress out, colors will fade...

Yes, you need to go in details up to water temperature, ph , gh, kh and tds. Much more different than cherries.
