Can use back the old systems of the old thread in buy and sell?

In the past, the old threads will appear when someone posted in the thread, now, it will remain in the same page.

From this system, we always encounter people keep posting same topic of items over and over again.

Maybe can the admin consider??

The reason why we move away from the conventional way was because of the following reason/s;
1) Members joisting their sale thread by either replying to the thread or "uping" this pushes the thread to the top hence get more attention.
- waste of bandwidth
- some of the sale thread gets messy
- unfair to the other members
- minimize chit chatting / non sale related comments

However, we appreciate the feedback and will monitor the situation.

David. Think this only benefit when it is in the other sections. (I'm using the tapatalk app for iPhone for replying threads I've taken part in & I must say some functions in tapatalk are really nice)

I support David here... suggest imposing rules like 12 hours before posting an "up" and no chitchat in buy sell.

Our definition of "waste of bandwidth" was not referring to the data generated for the thread, but as in the action of just "upping" the thread is a waste of bandwidth because there is not contribution to the content of the thread.

There is no negotiating on the "upping" of threads. If you refer to AQ rules, upping a thread will result in an infraction.
