Ich... Recommended way to treat

Guy, any of you have a preferred method to treat ich?

Some will tell you to use salt in combination with high temperatures above 31 deg C. However, salt is not applicable in some cases, especially with catfishes.
I use Sera Costapur, but there are other medications out there that deal easily with ich. The key is to get the dosage right, and maintain the treatment period.
