Anyone else saw this electrical system at work during the recent Aquarama? Bringing this up because I think it's interesting. I might get a Power Track with the socket adapters for my home.

    Re: Eubiq

Looks good to me. But I need to spend a lot for my marine tank setup if I want to use this system. I wonder if it can stand the marine application.

    Re: Eubiq

Justin you too rich. I come raid your set can? Hahahaha. I like this system though.

Rohaizal, I saw this in operation under one of the marine tanks at Aquarama. It was the same booth where the Eubiq mini-booth was located.

    Re: Eubiq

The vendor who was at aquarama happened to be the ones to set up a track in my home.

If you're looking at customised solutions i'm sure they will come up with one. Homefix will just offer you standard tracks.

Pricing is pretty standard since its still under patent so no competitors yet.

    Re: Eubiq

No idea on that, but they designed this for customisation and overall safety. It's so easy to lock the adapters in the slots and the fact that they actually light up to show in operation, instead of those that come with puny bulbs that blow out after awhile. I think it is best to contact them directly if you have specific questions regarding it.

@Rohaizal, I think they can do installation within a cabinet but from what the salesman said at the booth, you can find them in different sizes at those big DIY stores. I don't think it'll be too difficult to install it by yourself if you have the tools.

    Re: Eubiq

    BFG,
I installed this myself with some tools. Isn't too hard but i had some help from a leveler to ensure the thing was straight. I installed mine above my fish tank.. so if the tank leaks.. no problems, all my appliances are plugged above. I did this precisely because i have experience once when my tank leak and my appliance was all plugged below.. wah... tell you something.... once is enough..hahaha..

This product have been around for more than 2 years. I remembered my it show work in 2009 dec. Their booth is just opposite mine. Talk to the manager (she is a hot chick) and was told the office was at jurong area. Price range around 7~8 times of a normal socket extension. 3xx at it show if I'm not wrong, usually on the 6th floor of suntec.

If anyone is interested, can pm me for the number. ( I still kept the manager's number) hahaha

    Re: Eubiq

It was $1xx during Aquarama for a starter set (same set available at DIY stores I was told). I was at a Home-Fix store yesterday, did not see the set however. The salesman did say they could give you a quotation if you want a customised set up at home.

Haha. Good example of product depreciation.. I'm quite sure it's sold at high 2xx or low 3xx in 2009. As during that time my booth was selling normal plug extensions. There are different lengths for it if I'm not wrong..

    Re: Eubiq

Yup, many lengths of it, with limitations on how many plugs you can use, depending on the length of the track. They were selling it at a promo price during Aquarama 2011, so I guess the price will be different at the DIY stores.

Homefix senkang I think has on display but STD rails only. I was looking at this for my pc actually, but now I'm just gonna use server rack power rails for pc.

    Re: Eubiq

That works too. I figure this product is geared more to a home owner who wants some "style" and safety at the same time in his/her own home. Cost-wise, it'll be a long time before locals buy this item over those regular cheap multi plug extensions.
