Nocturnal Pets With A Nocturnal Owner
Red eyed tree frog is banned, impossible to get legally in singapore. Green tree frog is banned too, but i ever saw in pet shops. The only legal frog is white tree frog.
Green Tree Frog and White Tree frog are legal but Green Tree frog is not easy available in Singapore. As for White Tree frogs , if any one here kind enough to sell it but please be prepare to pay at least SGD 150-250 each.
Actually I do not encourage anyone want to buy Red Eye Frog unless if your vivarium is well planted with a little pool and equip with auto- misting ( mist 3 x day) . This species of frog is stressed VERY easily. Red-Eyes are more sensitive than most other frogs. Humidity is very important. These frogs come from a tropical environment that is very humid at least more than 70% RH. Remember low humidity will kill these frogs. And they cannot get along well with my White Tree Frogs..sighs
Hi eddy planner, the only frog allowed in singapore is litoria caerulea, which is the white tree frog. Although i have ever seen green tree frogs sold in pet shops, they are illegal, (most likely the ava officer could not tell they were white tree frogs?).
Red eye treefrogs very sensitive. Usually they die from 2 main causes.
1) Prolapse
2) Nose rub & subsequent infection.
They need appropriately sized prey and adequately tall tanks so that they do not end up rubbing their snouts.

If you are looking for a pet frog, *** will be the best as you can handle them easily. Retf hates to be handled and will get stressed easily. Must have a tall tank for them as well, at least a 60x45x60 from exo terra
Anyone has w t f to let go?
