Hi everyone, I hope i'm not the only french guy on the forum, I live in New Caledonia, and i am especially interested in Loricaridae and their relatives, I am more commonly interested by amazonian fauna than the rest!

How is the aquatic hobby in New Caledonia doing?

@jowalsh, you would be disapointed, i live in the center of the town and it is a building pretty much like all the same you can see in every cities...
i will post some pics of my tanks!!
@stormhawk thank you! here in NC this is a low level, the best ones are good discus keeper, a few are discus breeder, and some are marine aquarists, this is nothing compare to France!, We were limited to a small list of authorized fish, and now since the beguining of the year this list has been extended!
Either way the biggest part of the hobby here consist in doing a pond with some guppies to eat mosquito larvaes... XD

As a pleco lover, i'm pretty much frustrated cuz this is really hard to find some hypancistrus for example..

I try to put a pic of my aquarium but it doesnt work, it keeps on loading the pics without never managing to put it on the website.. help?

Hello again,

First off you'd have to upload the images and host them on a free image hosting site like Photobucket etc. Copy the image link. In this Quick Reply box, do you see 2 small icons beside what looks like an email icon? If you mouse over the icon to the right of the email icon, you will see that it says Insert Image. Click that and paste your image link in the box and click OK. To see if your pictures will load up right, click Go Advanced and use the Preview to see your post before you confirm it.
