Hi starlett, i just start CRS shrimp , do your install chiller on the tank?

No chiller
I'm very stressed over the temp for them, want to buy chiller but my iq5 may be too small for canister filter.
I do some diy chilling methods but temp not stable, which is bad news, don't want to murder them along the way.

Even if I upgrade my tank now to add chiller, I still got to cycle at least a month.

Sigh. So I may give up crs for adoption soon, if they don't do well, until I upgrade.

Get a small cooling fan, that's all you need. Chiller is overkill for a tank as small as the IQ5. If you have to, get those TEM chillers.

Tks stormhawk, i already have a cooling fan, but the temp is still not as good, in hot days, it will stay at 27...

I guess the only way is to upgrade to a bigger tank and install chiller...
