    I'm having a new tank setup, how much time must I give the manufacturer to cure the tank? cos buyer also wants my old tank. need to have enough time.

    5ft x 2ft x 2ft 12mm, using dow corning black silicon.

    according to some, 1 mth should be required... anyway, I'll ask on arofanatics as well. maybe there are more tank manufacturers there..

    Dow Corning has a few black silicone sealant products. Depending on the specific product, the curing time is approx. 7-14 days. There is also another property called "Full adhesion" that can be up to 21 days (at least for the 2 products I looked at).
