Recommend 2 feet canister

Hi all would like to know which external canister is suitable for a 2ft tank and it's small... Flow rate can't be too strong as having Apisto inside... Please help for recommendation and where to get it...

FYI, 2 ft = +/- 56 L, so u can try 2211, 2232, 2032, 2222 etc.
Most of eheim filter have a water flow controller to reduce the water flow.

Things to consider when choosing filter:
1. Media (what and how many)
2. Flow rate (size of your tank)
3. User friendly (easy to install, maintenance)
4. Spare part (durability, easy to buy/replace)

Eden 501 should be easily available in most lfs.

I find Eden 501 more suitable for 1ft tank (not powerful enough. Note that the flow will weaken as they run over a longer period). For 2ft tank you may want to consider Atman CF-600 or Dolphin C-500 which is about the same price as Eden 501 but with more media for better BB and better flow circulation. They come with control taps built-in to limit the follow rate. Better value for money and they come with priming button so no need to manual suck the water to start the circulation like the ehiem classic range.

If you have more cash to spend and prefer branded and very well tested in the hobby, perhaps 2213 or 2215 to consider.

I'm using dolphin brands filters, firstly it has followed me for 5 years n changed once o ring n now leaks after 5th year run, thinking to change filter as wanting for new set up for 2 ft tank,which filter is good? Features must be same as dolphin ciz used to that feature. Cheers

You may wish to consider OHF, easy maintanence compared to canister during cleaning

try 2224..it is quiet and good for my 2ft. you can control the flow rate using the lever for the inflow and outflow too..c328 still has 1 in stock i think and.. it's about 187..

I personally feel the Eheim 2215 from the Classic series is perfect! My current 2 footer is hooked up to one although i'll be changing to at Fluval 404 for my future 2x2x1 tank!

Try the Hydor brand. Quiet, easy to install and almost no need for maintenance.
