    Hi all

I am currently using a 5ft dual T8 lightings for my 6ft tank. One side is white and the other is blue. Somehow, my lights tube have been flicking and its about time to change it. I have this strange idea of changing it to LED lightings to save energy and I want the effect of amazon lake.

    1. Is there any blue and pink LED lightings available in the market? If yes, care to share the price and location?

    2. Is the mention above item suitable for aro and ray keepings?

    Regards
    Koolman

    Hi,

    1. I know there're blue LED lights available, I have them in my T5 light set as integrated moon light.
I have not seen pink LED before, but given the popularity of LED these days, I won't be surprise they are available as well.
Sorry, not sure about the prices, but you can visit Sim Lim Tower (not Sim Lim Square), there are quite a number of shops selling LED equipment there.

    2. Aros needs to have tanning lights if I am not wrong, LED may not be suitable.

    Hi bro,

Thanks for your reply. My aro have enough Tanning cos there are always sunlight in my hall that shine thru the tank.. I want to simulate a kind of underwater atmosphere during night time and energy saving so I dont have to off the lights. Sometimes, when off lights, my aro and fishes will get frighten and jump around.

    Cheers
