bro, the colours don't seem solid enough for a PRL.. New addition to the tank? Could be due to stress..

Haha johannas, just go down Gc, their 1st few tank along the door are all prls. You can see in person the difference between those tanks and the crs tanks towards the back door.

Prl are suppose to have thicker colours by appearance. And I think that's the only difference physically.

Pure Red Line does not carry any Golden or Snow White genes. The red is more intense and the white is more brilliant, opaque and not yellowish.

But according to the photos posted....really bad quality and even normal CRS is better than this so called Nishiki PRL.........it is an insult to the line.....In Singapore...only few people own this line and as far as I know ...only one local breeder sells this line.....a bit sad of paying so much but the quality of the shrimps is so bad.....

Is it because they were shipped from overseas and over stressed for the long flight?
I hope your seller is reliable and explain the quality of these PRLs you received. I suppose the seller has shown you the photos of the actual PRLs he planned to sell you which should be of much better colouration before you are willing to part with your money.

They were home breed as told.. He only showed parents and offspring.. Said that colors will be much better when adult... If want buy adult, the price will be 'scary' to pay...

Just beware of THIS KIND of people I guess...

Best reply of the year.. 'Eh. I cannot be responsible for color loss as different tank with different condition. I sell shrimps with a no refund. If you think that it's not worth that much then I can't do much for you also!'

Maybe can try to "rent" a place in one of the seasoned bros' tank to see if their colors would improve. What is your tank parameters currently?

I don't think it is your tank condition as all your CRS color look good ....as mentioned....all single piece encounters this color.....for my PRL....normally the color will be back in 2 -3 days....even from Japan......

Huh... he didn't even show pictures of the actual PRLs that he is selling to you. Given the high price of these PRLs, he should have done so or (if he do not want to stress the PRLs when catching them to take photo) at least keep them in an isolation box or tub for you to physically see the PRLs first.
