Maybe at that time when you pass him that time he don't have very solid crs. But you can see very solid ones in his post in the other forum.

Just wondering if the PRLs return to the original tank, would they regain the colors. (Not asking berber to take back the PRLs, just a curious question of mine)

Agree, for shrimps it is best to view and check in the seller's tank or nearest to the seller's location during transcation.
If the seller brings shrimps from his tank to the buyer a distance away, the shrimps might have lost colors due to stress during transportation. Then the buyer sees the faded colors and reject them

in future get direct from sellers home.inspect them first, remind seller not to pack first. if inconvenient then don't buy.

else if he already packed, seller will say shrimps stressed so colour not nice but colour will come back.blah blah blah

I got bad experience before buying sss and seller tell me to wait 2 days then 2 weeks then 2months before colour comes back!bullshit

only buy when you are satisfied.get prl from gc is better, can net and choose slowly. no complains after that.

Maybe out of good will and trust bro alvin decided to accept? For the distance Ber travel to bring him the shrimp? He know the shrimp will be stress but the thing he put there is 1 mth later still like that. My guess is that why he post this thread i guess let not guess so much let see what both have to say on this matter. hope other don't create too much scene until mod need to lock it. Interested in the outcome

iTrader has to be use more frequent to give an indication of seller/buyer reputation.
If the reputation is low, make sure that proper check is conducted before deciding the transaction.

For berber and alvin: use cool head to discuss this issue

Re: Worth or not the shrimp claimed by local breeder as nishiki

Thank you for all the comments and feedback...
I have called up THE SELLER and he asked me to go HIS BLOCK to discuss instead of somewhere central.. When i said Orchard.. he said he is working tomorrow (as if I dont have to work)

Fine! To BERBER, lets settle things in the forum and let everyone be the judge to what is the final outcome.

Very simply put it, I did mentioned, since shrimps are not even worth 10% of the amount i paid for.. Then why not refund and put it back into your tank? where it will be YOUR 100% color and you can resale to others? But was told by you that 'ALL SHRIMPS SOLD are no longer of any issue to you even if the colors become like SHIT' so I assume that I should just take it as a lesson learnt to see how a known local breeder is selling his shrimps to be of this kind of quality when there is no red or white.. You did mentioned that NISHIKI line is suppose to have INTENSE RED.. but do you see any INTENSITY on the photos? I believe there is none even when they are in my tank for a month?? so because of my water perimeter, there isnt even a single piece out of there which has a single INTENSE RED as stated by you?

Berber, like that not swee la.
Maybe you can explain why the nsk will become like that instead of the typical answers like your water got problem or shrimp too stress which make either you or the rest of us look stupid.

You can start with the source of the shrimp; self breed or buy from which breeder?
Is the color already like this in your tank or you have also not see the shrimp before?
Anyone else bought the same batch from you and do not have this problem?
And maybe you can show the picture before you pass to Alvin or take some pictures if you still have some in your tank.

    Just being objective.

Only sell to me? When you message me and said that someone else is interested in this batch of shrimps, must let you know soon or else you selling to that SOMEONE else?

You DID show me photos.. I can post them too.. But I think the one I posted should be justifiable...

No johannas, shrimps are abit different. When transported, the colour fading is on a very big scale. So practically you cannot look for any clues to assure yourself that the shrimp itself will gain back it's colours when it's stabilized in your own tank. Quite a number of the breeder's "tactic" is that they try their best not let you see the shrimp in their tank. Like saying that "not convinient for you to go up to view". So the transaction is done downstairs at the void deck. The situations above, you can only trust the seller himself.

Against berber, so far there are 2 incidents. Alvin did not got warned, as this transaction was done before ssy's bds thread awhile ago.

Veggie, I think once you know the price Alvin paid for this batch of "prl", you won't dare to throw away. Trust me

Aiyo.berber, just return the money and Alvin return the shrimp then can already. Don't need waste time. What's wrong with taking back the shrimp?
