Regarding EHEIM canister warranty

Good afternoon,

I got a EHEIM Professional yesterday, upon opening the box when i reached home, i found 2 different warranty card with different serial no. in the box itself, one comes with the stamp of the LFS and one is without.
So do i have to fill in both and mail them out? Or just the one with the LFS stamp

Also the general clause of the warranty card mentioned that the equipment is guaranteed for 24months. Isn't the warranty period supposed to be 3 years?

Sure thing. I'll just show the reply i got from Yihu.

Eheim 2224 canister filter has warranty of 3 yrs on the pump head as stated on the box.
The warranty started on the date of purchase on your purchase receipt. Just write the required information on the warranty card together with the purchase receipt and mail to us. Only mail us the one with the shop stamp and kept the customer’s copy for reference.
