wondering what is the thing you place on top of your tank.
Hi guys, recently I started planting my 2ft tank. Was a backbreaking one but the felt real good after completing. Cycle 2 more weeks and I am going to introduce crs into this tank
However, after a week of cycling, I discovered that there are many "flying roots" around either floating in the water or clinging on my plants. Tried several ways like picking them out or using net to hoop them but still there are some unreachable ones. Is it ok to leave them there or is there any other way to get them out?
Btw below is the picture of my tank. Pardon me for my lousy photographic skills and do advise on any ideas that can help me improve my setup. Thankyou.
p.s. can't really attach the photos.. sorry but my blog has some photos of it..

Please advice on the stranded roots that are stuck to my plants... should I just leave as it is or should I by any means remove them?
