    actually, I believe it is egg clusters of Daphina sp. but I was hoping someone might be able to confirm for me?

    At least it's not egg clusters from Daphnia. Daphnia breed their eggs inside the brood pouch of the female and little Daphnia hatch, like this:

    Unfortunately I have no clue what it IS.
