IAPLC 2011 Result is out

Seems like this year participation worse than last year. Perhaps because last year there was forum assistance in setting up an event to encourage people to participate.

2011 marks the 10 anniversary of aquaticquotient. StanChung strong showing (No. 5) in the IAPLC certainly added some gloss to AQ. It is a privilege to have him on board. Hope he continues to share his knowledge and that beautiful tank in aquascaping section. Correct me if I am wrong - it is the best result from a AQ member since 2001, I think he even better the previous result set by jacian ho. anyway it might not be apple to apple comparison - as jacian won in AGA (no.1) too. Not to take anything away from anyone.. every year it is getting more difficult just like in the Olympics - the average timings or scores just get elevated every year every competition. Also, if I am not wrong - the points that separate between no.1 and no.10 is only little in between.

Congratulation to StanChung for sustaining the spirit of taking part and still winning after 10 years in the hobby. You are amazing.

Congrats, Stan! Proud that someone around here break into the top 5 in the world! Congrats to the rest too.

With competitions like this to look forward to, at least there is some motivation to keep it going. Though no time to do a great deal but at least the routine maintenance.

Hope the rest also give it a try next year.

Kind of agree... there was an aquascaping workshop and photography workshop the previous year and nothing much happening this year except Stan's Iwawoody workshop at GC Opening.
