it depends.. should not go down by more than 2 degrees..

Mine is a 65G tank and the temp went down by 2-3 degrees after adding the fans. The temp was taken when the lights are on and I have 4 PLs.

A tank with dimensions 42 x 24 x 24 would have a volume of 104.73 gallons. It will weigh about 897.51 pounds when filled with water alone

rather than getting a cooling fan, a chiller can regulate the temp better...

Actually if u put the fan against the wall at an angle prior to the wall, u may get a slightly lower temp cause the wall is cooler!

BUT the price tag on the chiller is a killer !

True but it has a thermostat that regulates the temp rather than subject the tank, especially corals to temp swings.. which is very detrimental and stress on them
