    Re: Dirty gravel !

Use a colander; the plastic type used to wash vegetables and which can be bought at markets or the shops selling pails, brooms, etc. Make sure the holes are smaller than the size of the gravel you are washing. There is a type where the holes/openings are thin slits. These are not round-bottomed like bowls but flat-bottomed like the steamers.

If you have a lot, wash bit by bit under running water.

    Hi Jinn Juan

If you have this problem in spite of numerous times, I suggest you to allow the gravel with water to settle down for the next 24 hours and see any changed? If no improvement, then add some bacteria solution( you may purchase from any IFS) to clear the cloudy water.

    Hope this will help you.
    cheers

If I were you I prefer my substrat in the tank, it would be easier to clena the tank. I provide some "island" of plants and driftwood so that the creatures can climb onto the islands to bask.
